Revenant Kickstarter Launched

Over the weekend, I put the finishing touches on a tiny game I came up with a few months ago, and I've started a Kickstarter project to fund it.

Revenant is a one-on-one story game about passion beyond death. One Player takes the role of someone who has come back from the dead to complete some all-consuming mission. The Narrator is responsible for the obstacles that will stand in the Player's way.

Revenant will be released under a Creative Commons Attribution-NonCommercial-ShareAlike license, but only if you make it happen. I'm asking for $200 in the next two weeks. In return, you will be thanked in the rules and will have exclusive access to the game for three months before it is released to the world. At the higher reward levels, you can get an exclusive deluxe print edition that won't be available anywhere else.

This is something of an experiment. The game is done. As soon as the project completes successfully, backers will receive the PDF. Let's see if enough people want to give it to the world.

This game really sounds right up my alley. I absolutely love Revenants. They are the ultimate undead to me. I mean Liches are BAD and Vampires are BAD, but a Revenant is terrifying because it is just a matter of PURE WILL that has caused it to cheat death. Uber BAD! Thanks for creating this game. I look forward to playing it and maybe creating some stuff for it.

Congrats on your KS, BTW!

I'm glad you are excited. I can't wait to put this out for everyone! Kickstarter backers will have exclusive dibs for a few months as my way of saying thank you.
