Revenant is now available for free download at DriveThruRPG. The game is released under a Creative Commons Attribution-NonCommercial-ShareAlike license. The main rules will be expanded in future Mementos detailing different character types.

The Revenant Kickstarter ended successfully Sunday night, and yesterday I released the rules document to the backers. The game will be available here in a few months.
In the course of the campaign, 64 people pledged $856. That funded the Revenant rules, four Memento playsets, a complete second game called Small Favors, and even a playset expanding it! Both Revenant and Small Favors will be free games, released under a Creative Commons license, and you will be able to get them from this site in the coming months.

We have unlocked three of the first four stretch goals at the Revenant Kickstarter, so I went ahead and announced a new one: a second game to be released in a similar fashion.
Revenant Kickstarter Update #3
This new game will be called Small Favors, and it's about tiny people who must steal from the giant humans. You can find out more at the Kickstarter update.
Revenant reached its funding goal in just 4 1/2 hours last night! I've announced four small stretch goals for additional Memento playsets, and I have an idea for a larger stretch goal once those are reached. Check it out at the Kickstarter page here!

Revenant is a one-on-one story game about passion beyond death. One Player takes the role of someone who has come back from the dead to complete some all-consuming mission. The Narrator is responsible for the obstacles that will stand in the Player's way.
Revenant will be released under a Creative Commons Attribution-NonCommercial-ShareAlike license, but only if you make it happen. I'm asking for $200 in the next two weeks. In return, you will be thanked in the rules and will have exclusive access to the game for three months before it is released to the world. At the higher reward levels, you can get an exclusive deluxe print edition that won't be available anywhere else.
This is something of an experiment. The game is done. As soon as the project completes successfully, backers will receive the PDF. Let's see if enough people want to give it to the world.
